PARENT INFORMATION

Parent Involvement is encouraged through the School Advisory Council, South Lake Booster Club and Parent Volunteers. Please contact our office if you would like to participate.

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

As a parent, I will....

• Make sure my Child is dressed according to the South Lake dress code

• Check my Childs planner for assignments and comments from the teacher

• Attend parent nights and support school activities

• Communicate regularly with my Childs teacher

VISITORS   

When visiting South Lake Elementary School, be sure to stop by the office to sign in on the  computer and receive a name badge.

SCHOOL HOURS   

8:00-2:30  Students are tardy at 8:01 and will require a parent to sign in student.

DRESS CODE   

Our dress code is strictly enforced!
No Flip Flops. Pants must be worn at the waist. No hats or bandanas.
T-Shirt must be worn with spaghetti strap tops

MISCONDUCT

Actions by students which are insubordinate or show disrespect for others or general misconduct which disrupts the learning environment will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action up to, or including suspension or expulsion.

SCHOOL BUS

The bus driver is in full charge of the bus and students. Students must obey the driver at all times and follow the posted rules for riding the school bus. Violation of district transportation policies, rules, or standards of conduct, including disruptive behavior on a school bus or at a school bus stop, by a student is grounds for suspension from riding the school bus.
